Paper Cutout Revealing

*dan-da-da-daaaaannnn* Behold! my completed works! >:D

Yup, it's not very good... but i guess it's acceptable as a first try :|
Let me make this clear first: the cutout of a girl on a swing was inspired by when i was younger at the park. I would sit on the swing and swing really hard till i could almost touch the tree leaves above me (the tree was, and still is, if not taller now, very very tall) But apparently, my friends who saw it said it looks exactly like a picture they saw 'somewhere' on the internet. Where? they can't recall.. =_=

Really though, these are original designs, both the swinging girl and the butterfly, done by yours truly ...it hurts when they say that D: Well, maybe i should've went with my original plan for dominance:
a supposed-to-be picture of a girl with sakura petals falling in the background

then again, it would be impossible to turn this into a paper cutout for a beginner like me... >_<

I was supposed to take pictures while working on this to show my progress, but it was hard to do that since once i started cutting, i couldn't stop. Not even to go to the toilet. D; I was afraid the paper might run, or get blown away by the wind, or the house burns down and i loose my work ...okay going overboard with worries =.= but that was pretty much what i came up with IF i leave my work halfway, or stop halfway.

And that's why i don't have any pictures of how my paper cutout came to be.. i wish i did have some pictures :( it would be nice to see it come together picture by picture. like how one of my classmate did. She even made a video out of it, it was awesome :D

After doing this assignment, i seemed to have developed a liking to paper cutouts. It's fun to do and see them come out beautifully on a different coloured background. Maybe i'll try doing more in the future :3
